i just bought a hatch off my friend, his friend who sold it to him decided to put aftermarket calipers and pads on the car. it now has si rear brakes (it is a dx) braided lines and nissin calipers all around. this was good for me so i dont have to do it now, but i am having trouble finding pads that fit these calipers.

i wondering where the hell these calipers came from, are they off an siR or are they aftermarket? the pads are nissin too, i went to the local shop and ordered nissin pads made by aem, they even had the same part number but when they came they were different sized, so i had to cut the ears off the new ones and grind them down.

so if i cant find out where to get pads i am going to buy stock calipers and switch them out.
if you know what these calipers are please help!

the stock calipers are Nissin. Atleast for the 5 gen civics they are. Maybe he swap 5th gen civic brakes in.

yeah i tried stock pads they dont fit, does anyone know?


also will 5th gen calipers fit 90 dx HB?
my friend said he would trade me for stock, he thinks he can get pads for them. thanks.

 

Well, Nissin is just a big contract parts company... kinda like Nippon Denso, the electronics company, and Mitsubishi. They could have come from anything... maybe they are G2 Integra calipers, that's a common swap.
