ok, so i bought a bomz racing cold air intake but i kinda made it into a short ram because i only put the first pipe on and then attached the filter. And now my car is so LLLLOOUUUDDDD. Its extremely loud. DO u think if i put the other pipe on, it wont be as loud anymore?(so it would actually be a cold air intake). Tell me how to fix this loud noise from the intake. THank you. I will take any advice.

my dad used to be a mechanic and for some reason he thinks the intake is makin the car worse because of the loud noise and he is threatening to rip it off. lol.(weird dad) i need information fast so please reply. thank you.

 

If you put the second peice of pipe on, yes, it will be quieter. Not nearly as quiet as stock though.
