I have DC headers on it & a K&N air filter. Just wondering, since it is an AT, would putting a catback exhaust on it make it faster, or would it just be a waste of money?

The exhaust will increase the hp in the car. Just because it's AT doesn't mean the engine is any different. Remember, the tranny and engine are seperate. Everything one would do to a MT car to increase hp will still increase the hp in a AT car. BTW like your Z. ALso, people are gonna flame the Altezzas on your wife's car.

Yes, however the automatic transmission has a higher rate of mechanical loss and modification proves pointless in the end... not to mention the gearing of an auto sucks.

Besides, aftermarket exhausts sound rediculous on automatic cars.

 

Let me ask you something, would you drive your wifes Integra around town. If not then there's a problem there.

Best advice I could give is to use all funds to modify the Z.
