Default b16a1

Hey gusy I was wondering what you guys thought of the JDM B16a1? For a sawp intoa 94 integra. I ask because of the price of the b16a1. Will it take to turbo pretty well? Thanks

i dont know about doing that kind of a swap into a teg. the motor is probably alittle old and might need some maintainance to get up to par, but it is a good motor for turbo if it is built for it and done correctly. i would say just get an LS cause if u get bored with the motor u can always just do the LSVTEC. but regardless on what u choose for ur car, do some research and keep askin questions.

if you dont already know what lsvtec is...dont tackle it.....basically it is a VTEC head slapped onto a ls block...its like a poor mans GSR motor...but generally you spend more money building the damn thing up than it is worth...

Also there is no such thing as a b16A1

also the b16A is a torqueless wonder. I would never put that motor in DC teggy...I would go with either a B18B or b18C1 or 5....also people are play with the b20 alot lately and if you really wanna go buck wilde you can toss in a H22A

Why did you bring up a 2 year old post to say this? :slap:

Even still, a CTR comes with a B16B.
