so many problems HELP
ok where to start ....1994 civic lx , ready to swap but i have to drive my car there to swap and i have many things to fix and dont know where to sytart....ok first off , a while back i removed my distributor and am 95 % sure thast lil rotor inside did not turn , when i put it back on and turned the car on the idle bounced from like 1000 to 1500 and ack down ...up and down up and down continuously , around that same time i lost my liscense , recently i took it to a shop and they discovered a vacuum leak , on the way to this shop i discovered the abs was barely working and took a long distance to stop ...so i guess my questions are
1) could the break problem be a result of the vacuum leak?
2)could the idle problem be most likely a vacuum leak or most likely the timing?
3)would the car even start if the timing was off?
4)out of curiousity , if that thing in the distributor were to rotate like 3 times would it still b only 180 degrees off or would it have to b rotated 3 times opposite direction to be correct?
