B18C1 in Civic
Simple questions. Freinds got a 98 Civic EX w/GSR engine, that has a type r intake manifold. He is looking to getting a cat-back exhaust, headers, intake, and also a catalytic converter. Should he get these parts for a 98 civic or an integra? Thanks.

Someone check this, but I think it is:
cat-back exhaust -> Civic
header -> Integra
intake ->Civic
catalytic convertor ->either
I think the exhaust is going to be the interesting part. It might not be just a bolt on.

Still here... sorta...
get a TypeR intake.
No header/cat/exhaust that I've used has ever worked correctly Expect to have to go to a muffler shop to have them either extend the exhaust or make you a small shim-pipe.

Anyway, you'll want an integra header, ITR intake (although others could be made to fit), and civic exhaust. Leave the cat section out, get a universal cat, drive to the exhaust shop and tell them to plumb the cat into a new cat-section that actually fits between the header collector and the exhaust. Neither the stock civic section nor the stock integra section will likely fit.
