Default Skunk2 stage2 cams and milled head?

Anyone know about the clearnace with skunk2 stage 2 cams, a stock head gasket and Ls/Vtec b16head setup... how much i'd be able to mill the head. i'm going to be running .25ITR pistons. I plan to rev to 9000 safely, but want to raise my compression a little more via milling. i was thinking around .020.

Also, how many points for every thousands milled?

thanks

My roomate had them with a milled head and JDM itr pistons, and it was fine. But i also do know that with the stage 2 cams you can't separate them by I think 2 degrees, otherwise the valves will hit each other. As for the valves hitting the piston with a milled head

I'd like to put in a quick plug against milling the head for anything other than what is necessary to make it clean and level. Not only do you permanently lose piston to valve clearance, but you have to deal with correcting cam timing and whatnot.

You can get .2 more compression with p30 (JDM b16) pistons, and .5 more compression with pct (CTR) pistons. Both will cost you about the same as p73-00 pistons, give you the compression you want, and you won't have to mill.

True, but I believe that the p73 pistons are lighter then the p30 and I already have the p73s on machined LS rods. Is it cam timing or igniton timing? I always have to adv. my ignition timing after a milled head because it retards.

Depending on the year of the car, ignition timing may be automatically corrected for, but cam timing will be off.

Get a thick headgasket to make up for the milling and u be ok.

Dat's what I did. Otherwise I would've had 13:1 compression lol

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose then. i'll probably jsut clean up .010 to be safe, but get something out of it.
