Default b16a1 into 91 crx dx

Hey guys I've done quite a bit of research on the b16a1 -> crx dx but I still have some things I need cleared up.

1. If the engine comes with b16 axles, will they fit or do I still need to get replacements? like integra axles or custom made ones

2. (this ties in with question 1) Do the mount kits like Hasport, HCP, Place Racing, etc affect how the axels line up that much? and if so which is the best for this?

3. If the engine comes with an a/c compressor will it fit? or is it better to get a hasport mount kit and put on a usdm compressor?

4. I know I need to wire the oil pressure switch, VTEC solenoid, knock sensor, and the second O2 sensor. In addition, because it is a DX I need to wire the two extra injectors and add an injector resistor box for dual to multi point conversion. Here is where it gets fuzzy for me...

For wiring is it better to get a SI/HF harness or can i just add wires and plugs myself? would I need an injector resistor box like from a SI CRX or does any obd0 hondas work? I am a bit confused on how the injector resistor box wires up. Can anyone shed light on this and is there anything else i am missing on wiring?

thanks

Speaking from experience, let me try to answer some of these...

1. If it comes with B16 axles, they may or may not fit, depending on the halfshaft and the axles actually given to you. i.e. if you get the axles from a crx SiR and the halfshaft from an integra Xsi it probably won't work, it all depends too on question 2.

2. Each of these companies have their own special way of axle fitment from what I understand.. you can check Hasport's site for theirs.. HCP, I don't know.. Place Racing (the kit I have) claims to have placed the engine directly where it is on JDM models, true or not I have no idea, but I was given a halfshaft from an integra, and the 90-93 integra axles fit perfectly, and with 12000 miles on my swap already I can safely say there are no problems with my axles fitting (I bought rebuilt ones at autozone, 69.99 each with unlimited warranty )

3. If the engine comes with a B16 A/C compressor, it should fit I would think.. mine didn't come with it, so I bought a bracket from place racing that fits the old compressor perfectly. I'm not sure if using a Hasport bracket on the other kits is good or not, you might want to look into it.

4. The wiring on the dx is where the big trouble is. If I could do it again, I'd spend the extra to get a SI/HF harness and go from there (in fact I still might). My engine is running ok right now, I think I have more vacuum problems than wiring but the engine compartment has too many wires going everywhere for my taste. Unless you have great patience and skill with a multimeter, the wiring may bite you in the a$$. It's a bit more than the resistor box and the vtec stuff.. The resistor box is not too hard to wire in, it just goes between the ecu and the injectors. You should get on CRX UK club and download the manual for the VTEC version, it has all the wiring and most of the vacuum line diagrams that you will need...
