Default ...and so it begins

i just picked up my block for whats going to be an ls/vtec n/a build. its a pr4 b18a1 with usdm itr pistons. are the gouges in the sleeves ok to have? also the mating surface has little nicks here and there, should i get it milled? does anyone have any flow carts of just the gsr vs b16a heads? i know the b16 has better flow top end, and the gsr has better flow low end, but my question is that would replacing the intake manifold and doing headwork be better for either one? im planning on running on some itb's so, i dont care about flowrate with stock manifolds.
