Fixing my gas gauge

Default Fixing my gas gauge

hey guys, I replaced my fuel pump, and now the gas gauge is screwed up... How can I fix it?

What do you mean screwed up? I assume it doesn't work anymore, maybe your problem is the fuel gauge sending unit.

Sorry, I mean it's stuck on 3/4 tank. Thats all it reads... Did I possibly not re-hookup a wire or something?

if it's stcuk there at 3/4 tank you probably have the leveler stuck, you might have gotten it stuck when putting the thing back in.

take the fuel pump assembly out and look for the float at the end of a thin rod. make sure that float and rod is not stuck onto anything...

Damn. Thats what I figured i'd have to do. I hate takin that damn thing down. What a freakin pain.
