Default Type-R (B18C5) Swap ???????

Hey Guys/Gals,
Maybe I got the wrong forum, sorry if this is the case.

I'm trying to decide to swap a GSR or a Type-R into a 1995 EJ.

I'm concerned with the furture maint. on the Type-R suppose to GSR.

Regarding hard to find parts etc.... (Long Term).

I know it cost more but that's not the point, just availability of parts.

But will the performance gain be worth it?

The idea of the car is mainly used for work, but sometimes Auto-X (in the furture).

Any input is greatly appreciated....

It all depends on what you wanna do with this car. You said Auto-X and a daily-driver, Id suggest the GSR :goodjob:

Federal law mandates manufacturers make available maintenance parts for 15 years after a model ceases production. Parts are not going to dry up.

Now on a cost/ performance basis, that is another way to analyze your swap...
