Default tricky dilemma, car wont move.

i just swapped a b18b engine into my hatch. i changed the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, etc.. when i changed it, i rotated the transmission just to make sure it works, and the axles did spin. i did bleed the clutch line, and theres a good amount of pressure on the clutch pedal, however there is about an inch or 2 of slack before there is pressure on it. so heres my problem, engine runs and starts good, tranny goes into every gear smoothly, new clutch, but theres no power getting to the wheels. i can leave the car in gear, while idling and theres no signs of stress since theres no power transferring from the engine to the clutch.

seems like the clutch isnt engaged to me, but i dont understand why. i know installed the clutch correctly, and it is aligned. could it be anything to do with the clutch lines and pedal??

Default this happened to me a few days ago

i had the same thing happen to me, i was turing on a hill nad all ofa suddon my car just had no go. it started coasting back even though i was in gear. i had it towed to my house and the speedo would go up to like 20 mph and the car would start and rev fine, it just wouldnt move(even in gear). i took it to the shop and they fixed it in like a few hours. turnes out it was a gear on my axle. i had worn all of the teeth on the gear down and it was just spinning and not giving power to the wheels. i hope this helps.
P.S: it only cost me $167 i was excited, going into the shop thinking tranny trouble.

hey all. im new here & have a question. i've just switched over from automatic to manual. last month i bought a 93 acura 5 speed. it ran beautifully, without any problems w/ no noise at all. i bought it in april and havent driven it in about a month (i know huge mistake). tonight i tried to get it to start and it wouldnt turn over. i didnt want to flood the engine so i waited at 10 min intervals and finally got it to start, but it didnt sound as good as the day i bought it, and it started up with some hesitation. i was worried that letting the car sit for too long might cause a problem with the spark plugs and i'd have to replace them. can anyone give advice on what the problem could be. thanks so much. feel free to email me as well. same user name address.
