What are the most important parts for a good lsvtec conversion?

and what brands, or other OEM parts (ITR/CTR), would you recommend?

i thought most ls/vtecs were ls blocks with b16 heads? anyways... i know the ECU, tapping the oil line to make it bigger for the vtec....errr..rods i believe...man oh man...
