serial number

Default serial number

how can u decipher the serial number? we have a block head that were polishin an we wanna know wut kinda head it is. an we have the seial number on it. how can we decode it so we knwo wut it is. im sure its a b series but im not sure how big. please help.

Should be a stamp on it someplace, as well as the serial code. 3 digits, P-something.


P72=B18C
PR3=B16/B18CR

Dunno the nonvtec codes off the top of my head.

Modern B-series non-VTEC heads (B18A/B, B20B/Z) are PR4.

The stamp should be directly over the exhaust manifold.
