Default OMG whats wrong??!!

hey..well me and my friend just came back from racing..and there was no problems...we had put my friends stock 95 civic hubs on my car since we were gonna race alot...3 hours later we came back home..and it started to rain..no problems yet.....and we did a burn out in the rain we got thur 5th gear in the rain..and we parked...after like 5mins later..of just sittin and talkin in my car....we decided to leave...PROBLEM! so i put it into 1st gear..and started to go..when i left off the clutch..it like was releasing SLOWLY..so i was revving a lil bit..so i was like WTF? and when i tried to shift to 2nd it wouldn't let me..it felt like it locked 2nd gear to where i couldn't shift into it..so i could only go 1st to N....but when i turn off my car..i can shift all i want..to any gears.....but when the car is running..i can only shift to one gear and when i let go of the clutch i am not able to shift into the next gear..GUYS!! what is the problem?!??!??!.

pretty much.. you probably weren't spinning tires in 5th gear, but what you were doing was destroying your clutch. sucks to be you, but that's what happens when you do dumb stuff like doing burnouts in the rain.

Sorry to say, that is the symptoms of a cripsy fried clutch, I bet when you pull it apart the friction disk is tore up, and the disk may be heat siezed to the input shaft, causing the bad behaviour you've described.

F&F has no place in this forum. Whether you know the guy or not, this is a tech forum, treat it as such, or your posts won't be near as funny as you think they are.

I would strongly suggest that you stop cross-posting too. You'll get enough answers out of one forum...we don't need this crap spreading anymore than it already is.
