Default rpm jumping up and down in different speed

my rpm seems to jump after it hits 2. when i go higher speeds..it jumps to 5 6 7 and then 3 , well it really just jumps around back and forth as i go faster. what could the be the problem? and how do i fix it? its an automatic integra

i added fuel treatment and flushed my transmission and it jumps back and lesser now. is it cause my fuel injectors are dirty?

If the engine speed were actually jumping around from 3k up to 6k or 7k, it would be so obvious to feel you wouldn't need a tachometer. So I bet it's just the tach jumping around, right?

If so, flushing transmissions & cleaning injectors isn't gonna deal with the real problem. Wiring problem or loose connections SOMEWHERE at your distributor or tachometer or somewhere in between.

Got a multi-meter & a wiring drawing for your car? That's what you need.
