Hey guys, Long Time No See,

I ran outa gas like 2 weeks ago, and everyone knows that lagging u get when u run outa fuel, well now it does it between 2500-3100 rpm in 3,4,5 gears as if im cruising at speed limit and i press gas pedal mid way it kinda stalls or lags as if it was running outa gas.

its only been doing this since i ran out 2 weeks ago
any ideas what is going on?

Your fuel filter may be clogged from the junk your fuel pump sucked up when you let the tank go dry...

 

:werd: get a new filter and clean out your gas tank

 

so even tho the fuel filter is only 6 months old, i coulda sucked up some junk from the Gas tANk?

besides of replacing the Filter, what do u mean by cleaning the tank? getting fuel system cleaner, or actually removing the Gas Tank and cleaning it out? and if i did that what the hell do u clean a Gas Tank out with that wont affect ur fuel system

 

Just make sure you have plenty of gas and replace the filter, and it doesnt matter if the filter is new, it still probably sucked junk up...
