Default What are the best mods for a Honda?

What are the best mods for a Honda Accord LX 98 HP 2.0 L? I want to make car faster, here is my plan so far do new cold air intake system, mufflers, a new K&M air filter, New Sparks, Wires, Cap Rotater, Ignition, and new suspension. These are the first upgrades i am gonna do.

Next when engine dies i will get a B16 engine maybye, with Vtec maybye and put a tubro in it.

Last looks new paint job, rims, and minnor other repairs.

My question is it worth all this trouble for a older Honda? I want it to have some power if i get all this how much will i get and how much money?

Thanks, Bran

you sound like you dont know a whole lot. first i suggest you do some searching on this site and various others to help you learn. then you can come back and ask a more educated question.

OPM Motorsports used to make lots of racing parts for the 88-91 accord but their site has been down for a while

They changed their name to OPM Autosports and their site has changed as well.

www.opmautosports.com

As always, the questions you need to answer are how fast do you want to go, how much do you want to spend, and how much likelyhood of blowing up your motor are you willing to risk.

I've seen an old '86-89 body LXi with a B-series installed. They make kits for it now, but it will be incredibly expensive considering you need to convert your car to fuel injection first, then swap to the B.

Well, you could go for one of those old JDM Accord B20A's. It is an extremely rare engine though, and most people you will ever ask about it will have no idea what you're talking about. The Accord B20A is very different then the Prelude B20A availible in the states, the Prelude engine will not mount in directly.
