Default Ground Wires

What do you guys think about those ground wire kits? HKS, Apexi or even those Ebay ones?

Do they really make a difference? Because Im really looking into buying them

They'll make well less difference on a car on California than a car in Michigan. I wouldn't consider one unless A) you've run out of mods in your autox/road race/drag class, or b) your stock ground straps are corroded beyond recognition.

I have one and it's a waste of money. If you really want one, make it.

Buying a ground wire kit is pointless. Your factory grounds were put where they are for a reason. Your best option though if your OE is corroded is to replace them with a larger gauge wire. Try a 4 gauge wire on your battery to ground and your block and tranny grounds. It isn't really a huge HP gain, but your engine and car will really like this. And for all the guys with huge stereo amps, this is a good investment to consider.

yes, people tend to forget that with a huge stereo, you are overworking the battery and alternator. its good to upgrade the wiring. and aside from the wires that Pawpawsmurph mentioned, upgrade the alternator wiring also.
