i have 93 integra ls and i want to put a gsr head on it i want to know if it could be dun and how much work and parts would i need to make it work since i want to change it to vtec and around how much hp would i hve with it and what would my compression ratio be and around how much money in extra parts would i need thanxs for ur time in reading and responding to this

 

look for LS/Vtec Conversion on the boards... there have been tons of these topics, its called LS/Vtec conversion... also I saw somewhere where it was done parts/labor for $1K thats what they charged...forgot where it was, but yes it can be done...

 

iv heard good and bad things about the ls/vtec swap....im not sure why it would be bad but thats just what i heard...the good thing about them is that you will have the power all the way through with the ls bottom end ull have the torque and the vtec head you have alot of power once the bottom end is done with it power at about 5-6 thousand rpms......if you do put a vtec head on your car i suggest that you take it somewhere and let them do it becuase u have to put oil lines in for the selonoid and you will need a stock GSR intake manifold or get and aftermarket one....my friend was going to do this conversion but he decieded to get a new car...thats about all i can say
