Default Thinner Head Gasket for D16?

Is there someone who makes a thin head gasket for a D16Y7? I'd like to get a little bit more power from an increase in compression (engine has to be "stock" i.e. no turbo/etc. per SCCA rules)...but is it worth the effort, even if I do find one? (Anyone know a rough power increase?)

If that. Not worth the effort.

You could just use the d16y8 head gasket and remove the middle layer. I'm not sure how much power you'll gain from it as you'll just get slightly higher compression. You may not even feel the gain.

Before you remove a gasket or put a thinner one on, you better check your valve to piston clearence. All you need is some bent and broken valves the first time you crank that engine!

Tons of clearance. You could have NO gasket whatsoever on a stock Y8 head and still not bash a valve.

Still, there's no point in doing this. Won't get you anywhere at all.
