Default 96 teg in 97 civic ex

im lookin at this bad rear-ended 96 teg, and i was wondering if it was obd 2? and would it be a big deal to put that engine in my 97 civic ex? with wiring and what not, thanks for your help.

OBD2, yes. No big deal whatsoever. Crap, with an EX I think you'll only need to add 2 wires... one for knock sensor, one for IAB.
