Default Compressed air Turbo??

I was thinking, for drag racing.. could you not install a air compressor and a tube that shoots the compressed air into the intake? I was messin w/ my air compressor today and noticed with the (kinda expensive to be playing with) little air shooter thingy (little gun looking thing with a trigger) that the gauge said 70psi... put a little bitty hole in the wall with it.. doh

No. You would run out of compressed air way too fast, you would need to seal the intake tract to hold pressure, you can't flow enough regulated air fast enough, the tank would be too heavy to be practical, lots of stuff would keep this from ever happening.

It's actually cold air through the use of the AC. I don't remember exactly but it lasts about 30-60seconds and recharges in a few minutes.
