i have a 97 civic dx hb.... i just bought a front clip from a 2000 si. how hard is it to change the entire dash over to my 97? i don't want to chop up the si wiring. i want it to look factory stock. is it a unbolt and unplug swap? also...when i swap the motors...do i need the fuel pump from the si? also...anything else that i need please let me know..

 

i don't blieve the dash is plug and play, but if it does turn out it is, i would suspect you'll have to use all the wires from the si clip.

i beilieve the 96-98 civics had mechanical climate controls, while the 99's on received all electrical.

unless you got the fuel tank with the clip, you probably do not have the fuel pump.
you need the fuel pump.

newer fuel filter wouldn't hurt.
