Default how many types of heads are for the B16

are they different heads for a B16 engine, and what is the difference from JDm to USDM?

well, from what I know there is the b16a, b16a2, b16a3 and b16b. I'm pretty sure the head is all the same on all of these other than different internals like cams valve springs and also different intake porting. Usually jdm engines just have more compression than usdm. I'm sure there are a few things that I haven't listed but that's what I know for now

The B16A (all versions) use the PR3 head. The actual head casting is identical in all of them, USDM and JDM. The guts can be slightly different, but the actual head is the same.

The B16B uses the same PR3 head, but it has a slight port and polish job done at the factory. Besides the different guts, it is once again the same head casting.
