You really need to take apart the engine and go from there. You can't fix it until you know what's wrong, and an oil pump failure can cause some seious internal damage.

Does the engine still turn freely, or is it completely dead?

i the enigne still runs but there is a knocking sounds which i believe its coming from the cylinder 1 which the bearing on the rod connecting to the crank is loose, just a lil. I removed the oil pand to check it out but from below i can tell all that much and im not sure what to look for. but the piston heads from the bottom look redish or looks like red marker lines idk. but the rods look fine. i want to find out but i dont want to have to tow it someplace and have to leave it there. or does anyone know someone i can call or a shop near me LA, CA (near 605 & 60 fwy)

what engine do you have? If you have rod knock, that means you jacked some stuff up, its not just loose
