As related to my post in the Civic forum,
how do i check the vacuum system? I have read that it can be a cause of a lean running condition.
thanks for the help!
heres a link to my other thread, if you wanna help me there

The vacuum system? Just buy a can of carb cleaner, have the engine held around 2500 RPM, and spray the hoses, intake manifold gasket and throttle body gasket a little at a time, listening for a change in RPM [~500 RPM]either up or down very suddenly.

The carb cleaner evaporates pretty quickly. You'll actually be cleaning the lines as you spray them also

The spray [aerosol can] is rubber and plastic safe, made to clean carbs still mounted on the engine. The dip will turn rubber into a mushy pile of tar.

Spray all of them, you're trying to find leaks, if you don't know which are leaking, then you don't know which to spray, do you?
