Installation of original camshafts Integra Type R on Civic SI (B16A2)
when we change the camshafts, is it obligatorily necessary to change the Valve Springs?
let us must change Adjustable Cam Gears or it is already well regulated ?
I want to make economic and reliable.
Thanks

It depends on how aggressive the cams are. For Type-R spec cams, you can usually get away with stock springs. Don't forget though, weak springs cause valve float, and valve float can easily destroy the engine.
Cam gears are nice, but far from required.

PS: in this moment it goes up easily to 8800

ITR cams will make power to about 8200 and the drop off is so slight it is worth going to 8900-9000 to drop back in at a higher rpm in the power band. Plus it keeps from needing to shift at some auto-xs
