i searched and couldnt find any threads on exhaust diameters. i wanna know what aftermarket exhausts diameters are and if you can order a specific exhaust and order the specific diameter of the piping. anyone have a site or any input on this?

 

Mostly you'll find 60mm, 70mm, and 3 inch.

Most exhausts are offered in two sizes. Most japanese companies let you choose 60mm or 70mm.

 

Additionally, you should choose an exhaust diameter based on the displacement and redline of your engine. Lower redlining [>7k RPM] engines with displacements under 2.5L can get away with a smaller diameter than larger engines or engines with redlines 8k and up.

 

ok this has gotton nowhere, basicly for the application i am gonna be running i need an exhaust with 2.5 in. diameter piping. what exhausts have a 2.5 diameter or can you get any exhaust and specify what diameter you want

Sorry man, we don't usually get into exhaust brands here, we basically look for the size exhaust we want, and then ask about how it sounds, or go full custom. Sorry we didn't help, just how the cookie crumbles.
