Default building a ls/vtec

i'm building a b18 ls/vtec... would these parts be a good set up for a turbo application? and are the prices good, decent, or not good?

Sounds good for a turbo, but low compression will probably make it a bit of a dog until the turbo is installed. I'm assuming you already have a B18B engine already as it's not included in the price and you might want to consider just going with a plain old B16A head, rather than a Type R since your doing your own headwork and replacing the cams/springs anyway. I also have no experience with ZEX cams or valvetrain components but I haven't heard anything bad either (haven't really heard anything to be honest with you). I'm assuming their cams designed for a turbo application so if your not installing the turbo right away, these could cause some driveablity problems till you get one installed.

I'm not sure what size of turbo and how much boost you intend to run, but you may want to consider resleeving the block. The better pistons and stronger rods will help considerably but I've seen stock Honda sleeves go at < 10 psi without proper tuning. It will raise the cost somewhat, but the extra strength and peace of mind may be worthwhile. Also you may want to consider making room in your budget for a LSD when you install the turbo. Not a complete nessicaty, but probably worth the investment.
