Default N2O and FI

So, most of you know my setup (if you don't check out http://civic.ibadesigns.com ).

Wondering if a little 50 shot just before the FMIC will do me any good?

If so, why? I've been thinking a lot about what that would do and I'm wondering how it would get any cooler there than it would say, just before the TB?

Any ideas or suggestions to the use of N2O and boost would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Get some damn sleeves and crank the boost. Nitrous should be one of the last things you do once everything else is maxed.

No sneaky pete for you.

You can probably find a block for mego cheap if you look hard enough. Then send that one off to be sleeved and bored out.

hrm, i'm wondering. Have you topped out your setup as far as power goes already? Or can you go faster by addressing traction. Obviously nitrous is for top end, where you're already hooke up... Just throwing my 2 cents in the mix...

Also, is it safe? I dunno, ask your tuner. I've never been a fan of nitrous, but I kinda want to get my hands dirty with tuning it for a FI setup, I think that would be an interesting challenge.

To do it right, you need to switch to different fuel/timing maps while spraying. That's with a dry or a wet shot, with a dry shot, you would add fuel to compensate, and for a wet shot, you're pulling a little fuel probably...

300-400 bucks for a kit
$$ install cost
Hondata s200 comes with nitrous control already, woot
$$ dyno time

That money could go someplace else in your setup...
