Default LS or GS-R?

Im really thinking about purchasing a 94-97 LS or GS-R. I don't know which one? Can anyone tell me advantages or disadvantages of the LS and GS-R? For example, which is better for LS, go all-motor or turbo? What about the GS-R, turbo? Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

The GS-R will be a better platform then the LS. Always.

It will cost more to buy and more to insure, too.

turbo = LS, Nitrous = GSR, N/A = both have same amount potential. it just depends on if you want VTEC... VTEC will be bad if you wanna go turbo, on stock internals you can't push more than 15 psi with stock internals on VTEC. i've seen a VTEC engine turboed, when the VTEC kicks in the whp drops like a bomb! just my info to you!
