Default Chilton's is a crock!

So, I'm trying to study up a little for my wiring of my B18C1 into my '95 Civic DX cause I'm having wiring troubles and I pull out the ol' Chilton's for guidance... check this sheit out:

VTEC Pressure Sensor: C15
VTEC Solenoid: A8
Knock Sensor: D6
Evap Purge: A15
IAB: A26

Where the HE|| are they getting this from??????

This is what I've been going off...

VTEC Solenoid - Yellow/Green - A4
VTEC Oil Pressure Sensor - Blue - D6
VTEC Ground - Black - chassis ground
Knock Sensor - Red/Blue - D3
Evap Purge Power - Yellow/Black - 12V power (hot in ON or START)
Evap Purge Solenoid - Red - A20
Secondary Intake Solenoid - Pink/Blue - A17

These are right aren't they????
I'm so freaking confused!

Default

actually they are right..... but the pins are counted in a different fashion..... From what you first said :
VTEC Pressure Sensor: C15 VTEC Solenoid: A8 Knock Sensor: D6 Evap Purge: A15 IAB: A26
If I recall right these pins are read across the top then across the bottom 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 etc
The chilton uses a different order once again if I recall right : The pins area read from the front of the plug ( not the side with the wires) top left 1 bottom left 2 and moving towards the right in the same fashion.... give it a shot youll find out what I mean ( not the wire colors) It confused the **** oit of at first but I soon got the hang of it all
