What wire is this (knock sensor or VTEC)?

B18C1 Swap into '95 Civic DX

if it is red with a blue stripe it SHOULD be knock sensor. you can also check at the knock sensor plug with a continuity tester...by making sure that that wire and the plug have continuity.

I don't have a tester. If you look at the harness plug and the position of the wire, isn't it knock sensor. I just want to be sure before I start crimping connectors on the wires I've added.

Ok, I broke down and got a tester like you said. I traced the wire back to that piece you and I were talking about before:

So what position in the ECU should it go to?
