Default Help injector ? cracking

Just got some used dsm 450 injectors so I can do v-afc hack, but I notice that two of the injectors tips, where the needle is at have some cracking and the other has a small chip. Should I still use them or not any info would help on this!
Thanks

Not the rubber part, looks like a black housing around the needle made of plastic, but the needle looks fine

That doesn't sound to good.

Call up RC Engineering and ask them. If they say they are good, mail them in to them for cleaning and balancing.

i know this thread is old but...thought I might help out if it's still needed. The black plastic housing is called the pinal cap (don't know if that's spelled right) and it's just to protect the needle. if it's cracking and/or peices have come off I would recomend very carefully breaking the rest of it off. the injector will work fine without the pinal cap, but you don't want a small chunk of that plastic to go inside your engine. i've got 2 with missing pinal caps running in my turbo'ed civic now and they work fine. however I would STRONGLY recomend having it flowed, espeially if the pinal caps are missing or broken, as it's POSSIBLE that the needle could have been damaged.

Hope this helps, Ben
