Default Can A GSR?

Wondering can a GSR hang with a Porsche 944 non turbo in 1/4. Also, know as a poor mans Porsche?

depending on the year/options/driver they should be fairly close- I'd give the edge to the GSR though

The gsr will win hands down against the 944 non turbo. No question.

Far from the truth.

The 944 had many incarnations over the years- non turbo variants came with 150, 187 and 208 hp

being base 944, S and S2

Depending on model, driver and even conditions I'd say it's up in the air- even the GS-R year matters as the DA's were faster than the DC's

bench racing sucks, GS-R has a good shot- so go race [at the track of course]

Oh Yeah, track definately.I only was curious because his dad only have the Porsche word. The 944 is gone so don't know if turbo or not. The dash has the 160 mph speedo.
Yes, that is strange that the DA GSR is faster 1/4 mile w/ only 160 hp but we know it's because it's lighter. I just wanted to know because a co worker drives his dads 944. It looks good. Burgundy w/ nice factory chrome wheels. Personally I only like the Porsches with the engine in the rear 911's like the old school Bugs which I had 4 74's back in the 90's.
