Default Prelude vs. Jetta VR6?

How quick are the 2000 VW Jetta's?

My cousin just got one in a 5spd and say's he can beat me. I have raced my friends VW R32 and got raped to say the least, so I was wondering how quick the VR6 jetta's are. I have a '93 Prelude VTEC with I/E/C/F - he has a '00 Jetta VR6 with intake.

Probably be about dead even. Drivers race IMO.

My freind has a prelude 1993 2.2vtec (h22a) and has fitted I/H/E he raced one about a week ago and took it. obviously depends on drivers though so dunno how good the VR6 driver was!

I don't know the VR6 has some decent torque but it's true that anything can depend on the driver.

With two good drivers who both hook it I'd say the Prelude has a damn good chance.

You got this one, easy.

I used to own a 00 VR6 jetta. It was a mid 15's car. VTEC preludes, especially with mods, should be good for 14's.
