Default integra vs 325is

sup fellas...a friend of mine thinks he can beat me in his 325is....its stock...like a '97 or sumtin..and i have a 2k teg with headers intake exhaust...i know i cant win like straight line...but maybe acceleration? lemme know if u guys know specs or ne thin...who'd win? j/w....(prob 325 :angry: )

Do you have an LS, GS, GSR or what? 325's are pretty fast, but that doesn't mean they can't lose in a race. Tires for example make all the difference in the world as do the right drivers.

And btw, I hope you're not talking about racing on public streets or highways. That would be a no-go. Keep it on the track, and keep it safe.

Then I'd say your cars isn't too terribly outmatched. Torque would be the biggest concern I guess.

my firend has an LS and got killed by a 1992 325is with 220k miles on it. you may win. id like to know!

if your buddy's car really is 325is, then it's pre-1995 model. after 95, they souped the engine up a bit (2.5L to 2.8L. but there's no significant hp difference.) and changed the ECU from ODB-1 to ODB-2. a stock 325is came with a 2.5L I6 engine that puts out 195 ponies, but it's considerably heavier than an Integra. you might be able to beat him in 0-60 but past that speed you are no match, unless, of course, you put F/I :rick:

that wut i was thinkin not liek long distance...definatly track fellaz...not illegal street racing...i would think it would be close for 0-60 or maybe 1/4 but def not long dist...
