Default Timing Advance resistor

I just purchased a resistor that is suppose to add 5-20hp by replacing the IAT sensor. Does anyone know if this will work?

Probably more like 20-25 HP.

Oh wait, you'd be hard pressed to get 25 hp out of intake header and exhaust costing almost a grand...

If things were that simple and cheap, honda woulda done it

it doesn't do much except that it tricks the ECU into thinking it's all cold air that's coming in... thus u'll be running rich.... and will have a black muffler tip, and if you keep using it.. ur cat will be damaged. with this hack.. u'll feel like ur car has more power, but that's because it's giving more fuel.

if you want a better throttle response... just tighten the throttle cable up a bit. then u'll get the same feel as using that hack... and this won't damage ur cat.
