Cold-Air Intake System - did I get ripped?
this is a perfect example of why you should research...don't think anybody on HAN woulda recommended u buy the resistor or has anything good to say about it...good thing u didnt' waste too much money...intake will gain u some top end, but lose u some low end and def not 10-15 hp...but cai>short ram

You will notice more power, but not what those advertisements are saying. You'll need more mods than just an intake for the kind of boost. One thing I can say that are great about the SR Intakes is that they improve gas mileage a good deal unless you ride your RPMS high just to always hear the Intake's sound.
for a v6, u would be able to see 15hp. for a 4 cylinder maybe 5-7. one problem wit the american blocks is that they dont totally tune it for their full potential so hp is easy to gain, does ur friend has full exhaust?
get a full exhuadt with intake and u'll notice a power increase.

You mean GTP? as in Grand Prix? I like those cars and was gonna buy one like four or five years ago.
yea definetly get the full exhaust and a high flow cat. Personally i like Magnaflow and have it on my integra(high flow cat + cat back system in magnaflow) and have a friend who also has a magnaflow canister muffler(dont know which one) and i only have great things to say. Adds great acceleration and some good top end.

I have an intake and i makes my whole car sound much better!
