i just saw some power lock motor from a local shop. they cost around 29 bucks and 50 install it. what do you guys think?

is the $29.00 for both acuators ? if it is, that's a pretty good price since it would probably take you most of the day to install the acuators yourself. the acuators i got only costs $10.00 each from a local shop.

how would you go about installing power locks on a non power lock car, there's no button to lock or unlock them

Just buy a central doorlock kit.

With a central doorlock kit, the doors will lock when you open it from either front door with the key or from the lever inside the car.

It can also be controlled by an alarm. Its MUCH easier than 2 actuators and gives you all the wires.
