Default a/c control light bulbs

anyone know how to replace the bulbs for the a/c control for a 96-98 civic console? one of the two light bulb died.. the side that lits the 1 2 3 4 part is dead. i think u have to soder a new one in? anyone know what to do? and where i can get a bulb etc? i took it out to paint the bulbs amber to match my cluster and when i put it back in only 1 of the 2 lights worked. everything is connected tightly and everything else works. any ideas? thanks everyone.

I am looking for the same thing, except I want to change all my bulbs to LEDs.

did you guys figure how to do this? i have a 97 cl and the [on][off][temp up][temp down] buttons are dark. is the bulb inside the module? i'm having problems just getting to it w/o breaking the wood trim.

btw, if you want to put an led you migh want to throw a resistor in series otherwise you'll overdrive (immediate or premature failure) your led unless is a 12v one which i don't think exists.
