wow this was very helpful, gonna try it right away once i get my ride back from the shop =D thx again!!! oh and i had an idea.... if you wanted to keep the reflective area on the blinker side of the headlight... do you think that if u taped off a section of the chrome and then painted over it an removed the tape... it would look good? haha well i think ima try it n we'll see, but until then, get back to me =D thx again!@

New guy here. Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead. Wonderful write-up on the headlights - props to westcoaststyle! :cheers: I've been thinking of doing this to my ride but have a question as to the paint everyone used.

When everyone mentioned Duplicolor gunmetal, did you use the graphite wheel coating paint in the 11oz cans, or the gunmetal auto spray in the 5oz cans? Judging from the color in the pics it appears to be the wheel paint. Just looking for some help.

I used the small cans when I did all of them. That's all I saw in the store. :dunno:

Anyone have pictures of a 4th gen Prelude done with this mod.. The JDM headlights are a bit expensive.. this would seem cool to do.. any tips?

current USDM stockness.
