A Jack
Air wrench
Camber kit
1. Before starting alignment, complete inspection checklist. Determine the amount of change needed.
2. Raise front of vehicle and support vehicle on jack stands under the lower control arm.
3. Remove tire and wheel assembly.
4. From under the hood, remove the anchor bolt nuts.
5. From under the wheel well, remove the ball joint stud nut and release ball joint from spindle.
6. Remove control arm from vehicle. On Civic, CRX & Del Sol release control arm by removing control arm bolts from anchor bolts and remove support strap.
7. Remove nonadjustable anchor bolts from control arm and replace with adjustable anchors with the large radius to the ball joint.
8. Torque control arm to anchor pivot bolts to 22 ft. lbs.
9. Reinstall control arm assembly to the body and torque anchor nuts to 47 ft. lbs.
10. Reinstall and torque ball joint stud nut to 32 ft.lbs.
11. Replace tire and wheel assembly.
12. Adjust camber to specifications by sliding the arm in and out, torque the bottom adjuster nut to 35 ft. lbs.
FYI on a 88-91 Civic (did it to an 89) all you should have to do is unbolt the achnor bolts and their connection to the UCA and then the UCA will swing around easy for you to install the camber kit. I didn't have to remove any ball joints or anything, just the anchor bolts.

Side note does anyone know how to get the ball joint out? We tried everything from hammering to using ball joint tools which didn't even work well. So just wondering if anyone has pics of removing ball joints out of a UCA
