yeah, all accords before like 99-00 have to service the hubs, and if i remember right you have to service the hubs on civics too
its not fun and it takes a special tool to remove the bearing
also most 4wd systems also need hub servicing when working on the brakes

no, you don't need to mess with the hubs to replace the rotors on civics. No clue about accords, though. I wonder why they didn't just make them all of a similar design and save us all the trouble? Oh, well.

hey im actually planning on replacing my halfshaft later this day, what special tool is it that i will need for the bearing, as i am going to have to get the hub off in order to change this. This project is sounding like much fun the more i read about it.

If you actually catch it right after you tear the boot and before any damage is done you can do an easy replacement. You have the option of just replacing the boot, or you can buy a split boot. they are very easy to install. I wrote an articel On Team-integra.net

MY STEARING WHEEL USED TO SHAKE WHEN I BRAKED AS WELL

My Routers were gone and also the major cause of the problem was that the wheel barrings were gone. In my 95 Accord V6 they have some sort of STAMPED barring thing and it cost about 800 for new front routers pads and 1 wheel barring (CAN funds).
