I'm pretty new here and cant figure out some of this slang you people use, like "bump" whats it mean?

it means....that this has nothing to do with a diy, and should be put in the basement.

You'll see "bump" in the wanted to sell or trade type threads. Someone will say I have a nice ________ for sale and people will come on a say something like "that's really nice but I don't need it right now"... that statement is kind of a bump.
If someone just says bump that means kind of the same thing. It's keeping a thread alive IMO.
It can mean different things though.
