Heater Fan & High Beams don't work! HELP!

Heater Fan & High Beams don't work! HELP!
Hi, my girlfriend has a '96 Civic DX. The problem started almost a year ago when evey now and then the heater fan and high beams would stop working. When you would go over a big bump they would work again. Now they don't work at all. I have bench tested the fan motor, replaced the fuse and relay in the fuse box under the hood, replaced the resistor and still NOTHING! 
As for the high beams I give up! HELP me please before I take it out in the country and light it on fire! At least we would be warm in the winter! Any help is appreciated!
