Default CTR pistons for a ls/vtec setup

can anyone tell me how to measure compression ratio,piston to valve timing,and lastly,if i rebore the stock b18b block .25mm larger will i have 2 get an .25OB CTR pistons or can i use the standard with oversized rings and which will it fit no problem? oh and if it helps im thinking bout using a b18c head,also can i use the ls crankshaft and rod?

----- Im currently building an automatic ls vtec and i jus tried installing the ctr pistons on the ls rods and crank wit the b18 c1 head the ctr pistons and the gsr head jus do not go when i installed them they kept hitting the head when rotated so only way they would fit is if you got a b16 head, crank, and rods because the b16 rod stroke was short and fast so the rods are smaller and the b18 stroke is longer. So what im gonna do is repalce my ctrs with the gsr pistons and keep on building.........
