Default diagnose electirical problem

my car cd player refuses to turn on when i hook it up. all wires match etc. i plug in the stock radio and it works.... also, i seem to notice this when i shorted out my other cd player(stupid mistake) bc after that, my clock turns back to 1:00 everytime u start it. anyone ever had this problem or know what it is caused by?



its a pioneer somethin 3700 deh or somethin, mp3 wma sat. ready etc. connected by a schosche(check spell) adapter to a 92 civic
