Tips on Freee HP?
ah you could steal the parts u need and gain horsepower like that lol nah but if u dont want to get locked up ya like da other post said a/c and steering ow and hey i heard a crazy idea someone correct me if im wrong ah my cuz told me that if u remove the IAT sensor (intake air temp sensor) from the intake manifold and put it towards someware that the engine is cooler or rap it in somethang that'll help it keep kool that u can gain free HP like that becasue it would think that its suckin in colder air even though its not and will therfore add more fuel to the mix therfore giving u more hp jus an idea anyone know if dats true.

clean the internal's yo!
Seafoam will do. or 44K from Nissan Dealers
or diesel., yeah, no spelling mistakes, diesel will clean.
info here.

but do replace the spark's after you run either diesel or seafoam.

Nothing is FREE in this world, that's the first lesson...
Second, the engine is designed with an IAT sensor, so it can determine the intake temp. If u were to remove, and do what u said, or plug in a a resistor to trick the ecu into thinking it's cooler air, it will only hurt you.
The Engineers designed it to "read" the IAT in order to determine the correct and OPTIMUM amount of fuel to add.
Adding tons of fuel, if the air is hot anyway, won't help u at all...
Actually, it will slow u down...
I can't say it more than enough...
An engine is designed to work with optimum conditions from the factory...
The only way to increase it's output is to to add REAL, proven, engineered mechanical systems (ie turbo or supercharger) or to increase it's breathing ability, (high-rpm, N/A motor).
Adding more fuel when the air is hot is ineffiecient, after all, it's thermodynamics and chemistry that determine how much fuel HOT vs COLD air can hold, not the motor or it's electrical operating sensors.

i don't trust those. i've heard too many horror stories w/ my buddies' cars losing their ECUs completely cuz the damn things short circuit. better safe than sorry. dunno, any other opinions?
omfg, u n00bs d0n't read the hydo shit they posted up?
What Honda red-lines at 5.5k RPM do we all know of?
Hmm..something to think about right? and all civic's redline at 7000 RPM or higher.
eBay performance upgrades besides an intake = omfg teh gayzors!

my sol is technically a civic, and does NOT redline @ 7k...
well, thanks you, who even mentioned the eBay link to the performance stuff i was refering to.
and..if i wanted to say delsol, i would have said delsol. well, Del Sol does have so and so many different models.
it's like saying my integra doesn't red-line at 7k, we all know their's different motor for different models.
7k or 8k, who cares. stop picking on me for sakes
